guys, dont exaggerate. taubman is defined as pressing by dropping hand hard and twisting instead of finger joints, which is very successful. stop using fancy and eloquent descriptions and flowery speech.

I’ve studied with Bob Durso for nearly 4 years, and in that time my playing has been completely transformed. The Taubman approach truly breaks down every aspect of a virtuoso technique. If anyone reading plays, and experiences any limitations or discomfort at the piano, you owe it to yourself to research the Taubman approach.

Great video. Thanks for posting. I have studied the Taubman approach to coordinate technique with Bob Durso for 5 years now and it has not only allowed me to recover from a serious injury but also has opened up new technical possibilities for me that I never thought were possible. If anyone watching this video wants more input about the Taubman approach I’d be happy to answer any questions…
